Expert Interview with William Meyer
William Meyer is the author of two middle grade adventure novels published by Sleeping Bear Press. He also has written Big Breath, a guided meditation children’s book, Healing Breath, a guided meditation through nature, and Three Breaths, a manual for meditation in the classroom, all published by New World Library. He is currently authoring a chapter on Mindfulness in Schools: An international comparative study for a book being published this fall by Bloomsbury Press. Outside of his writing, he supports district wide SEL and community engagement initiatives as a staff developer and consultant. He holds degrees from Dartmouth, Harvard, and has a PhD from NYU in Education. His work is motivated by a deep interest in finding ways to engage the inner lives of students in a more meaningful learning experience.
